The Morganicsapproved mission statement is to provide our customers with a well researched and regularly updated guide identifying the finest organic and non-organic farms and growers in North America, producing the highest quality, safest, most tested and most inspected fruits and vegetables available.

 

All you need to do is ask the produce manager the names of the farms that provide the produce you buy and then come here and check our rating system. 

 

Who We Are

Morganicsapproved.com is the moniker of a small but growing group of U.S. based produce retailers dedicated to providing our customers with an unbiased, research-driven list of the finest, safest, most tested and most inspected farms and growers in North America.

 

What Is Morganicsapproved

Morganicsapproved is a consumers guide to the finest organic and non-organic farms and growers in North America producing the highest quality, safest, most tested and most inspected fruits and vegetables available.

 

 

What Morganicsapproved Does

Using a set of criteria dedicated to quality, safety, inspections and testing, extensive research then allows us identify the elite farms and growers possessing the standards and practices consistent with Morganicsapproved and our conscientious customers.

 

Evaluating Criteria

  • IPM or Integrated Pest Management: Initiatives designed to reduce or eliminate the use chemical pesticides in favor of more natural or organic methods such as traps, beneficial insects, seed selection or habitat manipulation

  • Regular Independent soil testing to determine organic status, trace pesticide levels, microbials and overall soil efficacy and safety

  • In-house Food Safety Manager

  • Organic or alternative fertilization practices used to reduce or eliminate chemical fertilizers in favor of more natural and organic methods such as composting and crop rotation

  • Traceability: A safety and identification practice designed to pinpoint field of origination of any unsafe after-harvest produce

  • Inspections and certifications (three or more): USDA, FDA, HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, GAP, GMP

  • Other Green and Sustainability Initiatives (three or more): Drip irrigation, recycled or reusable packaging, biodiesel tractors, local growing, recycled or reusable pallets, synthetic tractor oils, electric forklifts, high efficiency coolers
